Thanks to all of our runners and sponsors $20,000 from the 2009 Hog Jog will be going to the Lung Association, Huron-Perth to be used specifically for projects around asthma awareness.
The contributions to the Lung Association, Huron-Perth will be made in honour of Gilbert Vanden Heuvel, a successful pork producer from Huron County who has had asthma all his life. Gilbert is also active in industry associations, his church and community while living a healthy, athletic life fully with his asthma under control.
