The 2024 Hog Jog is in support of Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth
Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth offers 24-hour palliative care, 365 days a year, in a home-like setting for those in our area with a life-limiting illness and their loved ones. All at no cost to the individual.
In addition to the clinical care team comprised of RNs, RPNs, and PSWs, Rotary Hospice is grateful to have a roster of 140+ trained volunteers who support not only the activities and individuals in our hospice home, but will also support those who choose to spend their final days at their home of choice.
2024 Honourary Chair
"Teresa Van Nes, a loving Mother, Oma and wife to Jack Van Nes for 56 years. Teresa & Jack were avidPerth County Pork Producers for many years. Their farming legacy has lived on within their 3 children who continue to farm with their families. Teresa was a volunteer with the Ontario Pork Congress for many years. In 2015, before Rotary Hospice was built, Teresa spent her final days at the Sakura House in Woodstock with her family by her side. The Sakura house let Teresa's children Jim, John & Pat be her children instead of her caregivers and truly cherish those final memories with her. We are pleased to have this year's Hog Jog be in her honour as the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth is a cause near and dear to our hearts."

With your support Rotary Hospice wishes to create a Serenity Garden on its existing property as a space that will offer a meditative space for contemplation and respite for residents and their families, our staff and volunteers, and the broader community.
